The sixth annual Aberystwyth Ffotomarathon, organised by FfotoAber, held on the weekend of 22-23rd October 2016. Some 70 people took part in the challenge to create 6 photographs to illustrate 6 different themes in 6 hours. The winners were announced at a special awards ceremony at the Morlan Centre in Aberystwyth on the Sunday evening.
The themes were: The other side, 4, Raw, Pattern, Collection and Blue.
Tony Hicklin was announced as the winner for best collection in the camera with removable lenses category while Llio James took the prize for best set taken by fixed lens camera. Kiera Ellis took the prize for the best collection for the category 16 years and under and Charlotte Rigg won for best collection taken on a mobile phone.
The winners for the best photograph for each theme were Samantha Rigg (The other side), Tony Hicklin (4), Tegwen Morris (Raw), Siwan Fflur (Pattern), Wendy Phillips (Collection) and Kaloyan Cholakov (Blue).
